you have the option to ask for termination of loan contract… in most of the cases, people agree to terminate them.

i agree with the money penalty, but only if that money goes to the system rather than any of the teams…

Suppose, if i replace a midfield player at position M-RC-1 with an attacker and switch him to A-RC-0, will he be treated as an attacker or a midfielder…

till now i had thought he would be an attacker, but check this match report, it says something else.
Check player Marco Della Picca. he is an attacker, but he replaced a midfielder as an attacker, but it shows he is a midfielder.

i am more worried about him losing 3 skill points on each skills

no, it exists in our number system… ( the original hindu-arabic system)
that is is a whole different numbering system …

any way… 7 CPU teams were fighting on him like a hot cake ;)

manuel… i will give u a scenario… sincerely speaking, no body puts a player with less stamina on loan market… the thing is that most of the players listed for loan are either young (age 19 – 24 ) or with higher wages. although they don’t play official games they play friendly matches, and over due course of time stamina gets reduced, if the manager don’t regulate the players substitutions properly.

Not all managers can manage this perfectly, and thus sometimes the players stamina goes beyond tolerable limit…

but Manuel, i have a question for you… you can always check a players stamina before hiring him for loan, why don’t you do that? i know other managers are not doing their job properly, but why don’t you :?? you can at least check before hiring

-players can pass the ball to teammates behind when there are no suitable teammates ahead
check the following replay from 10:24 to 11:34 ( this is just an example) http://www.rubysoccer.com/game/match_replay/599961

In this case I have 3 of my strikers passing the ball among themselves in front front of the goal and not shooting at the post… is this the problem because of my poor strategy or some sort of by product of recent changes??

i meant shots deflected by a defender which would confuse the goalkeeper…

Currently 8 cpu teams are negotiating with my player , Chrish Gallagher, http://www.rubysoccer.com/game/player_info/51905 , but i did not get a single message in my mailbox regarding this… i hope you could change this…

or you could check their stamina before signing a loan deal…
having said that,
i agree with you that there should be a lower limit for stamina, below which should official games should not be counted… May be below the stamina level which affects players skills by more than 5%… i.e. below 85

“-players can pass the ball to teammates behind when there are no suitable teammates ahead”- thats why my midfielder was continuously passing to my defender… realized at once when i saw the replay… i was playing with short passes and moving all players ahead whenever i had the ball, which meant that the defender behind was the closest guy to the midfielder…

logical change… i updated my strategy ;) valadolid got lucky :)

EDIT : “… since now the shot can be intercepted”, does that mean there is a possibility for deflected shots too ?? ;)

nah, i am not angry charles… just trying to highlight the flaws… same case could translate to official matches too… and gab you are right about the need of friendlies in newspaper…

i had one more suggestion about newspaper. sometimes we don’t have any news in some sections of newspaper, in those cases why not create a news about the match for the current manager. For eg, if there is an empty column, and there is no news about my team, then a news about my team could appear in the news paper :) this may not be 100% solution, but then worth a try…

i just wanted to point out that team selected for friendlies should be the worst 11 ( i am not saying that does not happen, that is what happens for CPU teams ), and thus newspaper should also use this factor… rather than the best 11

Auxerre 10 × 0 Levante

On paper this game had a draw written all over it. However, to everyone’s suprise Auxerre triumphed in a closely fought game.

  • I don’t know how you can see a draw written all over that match…;)

well, i checked his stats, and it says he has received 4 yellow cards this season. And last of them was in the league game of turn 72. i think that explains why he didn’t play in the league game of turn 75.

EDIT: referring to medium ticker

in many matches even some goalkeepers with lessers skills withstand very good shooters at 97, 95, 98 (all having average skills above 87)… i could give a host number of examples…

i would like to add a little bit to what dhimitri said… although in fact he has already said everything…

  • i think all the calculations dhimitri did regarding player evolutions were under the assumptions that coaching level is high enough to unlock all the potential available in a season
  • players receive twice the experience points for every game they played under the youth academy. for eg, if a player received 3 exp points for a league match, he would receive 3X2= 6 points for each league games he played during his youth academy years.
  • A youth player can unlock 20% of his experience points in academy per season, while he can unlock only 10% after leaving the academy.
So, a player who has spent more years in youth academy has unlocked more points ( considering he has played enough games) than a player who has spent less time in academy.
For eg: (lets say coaching level is 10)
Season 1: 28 GP out of 140= 20% (16 yo) (lets say player was born in turn 1, and played all the required games to unlock his potential )
Season 2: 28 GP out of 140= 20% (17 yo) (played all the matches in youth academy)
Season 3: 14 GP out of 140= 10% (18 yo) (contract given on turn 1, so, didnt’ play any matches in academy)
    Season 4: 14 GP out of 140= 10% (19 yo)
    Season 5: 14 GP out of 140= 10% (20 yo)
    Season 6: 14 GP out of 140= 10% (21 yo)
    Season 7: 14 GP out of 140= 10% (22 yo)
    Season 8: 14 GP out of 140= 10% (23 yo)
thus the growth stops after season 8, but remember this is in the most ideal case. Not all players evolve ideally. Not all clubs have coaching level of 10.
  • And yes, as amacb has said, 140 points is an average. your players could either get more than 140 or less than 140. i have an example of player who has grown 141 points in total. (http://www.rubysoccer.com/game/player_info/69391) this guy was born in bordeaux when i was there. Luckily i had a chance to hire him for once again for Levante.

(and experience points for each national cup game is ( home cup) is 3)

well… i think real madrid’s manager should be the one explaining his case… but then since it was your team, it was obvious you would get pulled down…
anyway i will change the heading…

EDIT: i am not saying anything against anyone personally… but then it is also true other two teams will feel let down by Real madrid… These kind of matches should never go unnoticed…

i am against the transfer windows or “no transfer window” whatever name you may have given… i don’t think “too many transfers” is a problem in ruby soccer at the moment…

regarding first and second, they were already put forward above by sly and philipp, which are good ideas…
