thanks gab, it works for me:). now i’m relieved.
although seems like the youth section still has some issues, with 2 different sets of players information appearing with and without the flags. but its easy to remove that… so, i won’t say anything about that.:) or did i already??;)
gab, there must be some way to remove that duplicacy… its killing me every time i need to load the data… you know what it feels like… or simply lets have an export procedure:)
if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it…, but u fixed it anyway and finally it broke down … :( doesnt make things any better:S
i won’t say remove it, just make those previously available information available again:)
and i guess removing that duplicacy would also be good:)
player loaned, player_transfer etc are also appearing on mine… although card information is not there.

yah… they are still there when u copy the data, and moreover, the player information appears twice, in case anyone has not noticed.
show flag option would be nice… we can have it enabled by default.
its good to watch, but then it has caused me one problem.
i actually maintain a spreadsheet and maintain an instance of my players skills whenever there is any change. So, when ever there is any change in the players skills level or any players are being transacted, i update my spreadsheet. players names were the first columns but now, with this flag in place, the country name is concatenated to the player names (although, with a space in between). earlier it was a simple copy paste thing, whereas now i need to manually add a tab in between and load to excel using its data loader, and finally delete the first column. i know i am complaining about not having my luxury anymore, but then, it has given me the problem…
if we could have a tab in between the flags and the player names, my problem would be solved. ( i guess a lot of other guys might have the same problem). i could exaggerate the problem a lil bit more, if that would help u add that small tab in between :) )

ahh… i thought players had become more thoughtful nowadays… any plans for that gabriel?? players looking for teams with more first team opportunity rather than money…
if this means the players are looking for clubs where they have more first team opportunity, i would welcome any such changes…
i feel this is better for the game…
even if there is something wrong with the match engine, it is same for both the sides, so, that should even it out:)

these days i’ve been quite bg with my course works, and when ever i have time i try to login and keep myself upto date.
but at times as alban has mentioned the server does not respond ( or connection cannot be created). i thought u guys were probably not aware…
its something different, and not just because of server restart…
is it only me who is having these connection problems???
we could have a different shooting options for each players ( or one each for strikers, midfielders and defenders) rather than one shooting orders for the whole team.
But i think the best option would be to have different options best on the field position
- Any players on A1 and A0 field position could do with short/medium range shots
- Players on A-1 to M1 could do with Medium/Long range shots
- Players beyond that position could use Long range shots.
And the first and foremost thing, i think we should not set these orders. These should be there by default. But only in case if any manager wants to try something different he should be able to change this. ( i think that is what happens generally)
gabriel, i didn’t mean that regarding my first question… what i meant was “high number of shots should not necessary mean more goals”. we can keep shooting from long distance, but that should not increase the chances of goal too much. (unless he is christiano). i meant more number of realistic shots should increase the chances of goals. as i have listed some of those above. we could have more feedback from other players regarding the realistic shots…
does that mean they r good for nothing now:S…?? coz i was hopeful they had that pool of 140 points – ( minus used points) left in them

Is this an error?? I have a player in medium ticker, who was born on 10th season. currently this is 12th season and that player is already 24 years of age… It was a shocking information to me, as i thought players were normally born as 16-17 years old??

i have a small question regarding the next update on shots on goal…
we can shoot the goal post every time with a long distance shot from the centre half, but does that increase the probability of goals???
gabriel, i think we can narrow down the type of shots that are likely to score goals ( considering all the factors like goalkeepers abilities and goal strikers abilities)
some of the likely cases to be considered are below:
- a shot is more likely to produce a goal in one on once case
- if the ball rebounds off the goalkeeper, even the goalkeeper with highest quality (in terms of keeping, speed and control) should find it difficult to stop a shot by a striker with lower quality.
- if the goalkeeper has been kept very busy then, he should lose his stamina more than normal times, thus reducing his overall speed and other factors that are affected by stamina.
- if a Shot takes a deflection on the way to goal, thus the goalkeeper is helpless.
- Coolness (may be defined by aggressiveness, less aggressive could mean more thoughtful) of the striker in front of the goal??? could chip the ball instead of firing it blindly…
we could have suggestions on the likely cases where even a keeper of highest quality should find things difficult against him.

i am not sure we agree here. Loaning team was willing to agree to pay the percentage on the wage specified during the contract.
If any changes have to be made then, that should be done during the Loan renewal period…
but board should have prevented him to fire the staffs at first, if they are first team players… i know its difficult to define ..
(it doesn’t allow us to transfer or loan all of the players, then why allow us to fire them at first place??)
