it’s impossible to sell older players unless you ask 1-2 mill. I’m selling players who player quater finals CL in this game for only 2.4 mill. Players who “deserve” more, but face it….THEY ARE OLD!
Only way to change this, is if Gabriel makes older players valuable at some point. Like, not having then get -3 on all stats when playing away? Or perhaps eveven just get +1 or 2 on some stats when playing. Or make it say that with an X-amount of older players, the younger players also don’t lose -3 on all stats? or only get -1 or something…
You can’t sell 30 year old goalkeepers for 40+ million. Nobody in his right mind would buy a player who is most likely losing stats. This is called “a bad investment”.

No, perhaps Managersim should have been the basis of it all, and it should have evolved from there :), All these evolutions as of now, are things managersim already had, but Parag, you wouldn’t know that….since you didn’t play that game….

I think it would be a great idea to be able to play around with ticket prices. I guess it could be hard for you to find a way to make it so. For example, when playing the cup semi finals or having a quater final EL/CL game. I think I should be able to ask more money from my tickets.
Some teams will always be rich, that’s called GOOD MANAGEMENT. It’s most likely the same managers who did great with managersim. Some people are just slightly better or committed to the game then others.

You only have a 90 keeper with only 92 speed to compensate for the low main stat. Benfica has some nice attackers…..
@Davison: LOL @ andy oliver. His stats have a combined total of 605 and he’s only a 91 shooter :). Just because he scores in a weak league doesn’t make him worldclass :). I recall your post of 150 mill for andy oliver :)pretty funny! I have players on the bench who are better then this guy. A little secret, he scores alot because you play him on ac-0 :)
Barca manager was fired on turn 48. This manager was a new account. The manager was not previously in the game and just joined . On turn 49 a new manager was hired. This manager is also new to the game and is now the new manager of Barca. Am I the only one smelling something here? :)

I hope anyone is intrested. I think the market is just dying. Nobody seems to be able to buy players. They all rather get them from free transfer and pay 150.000 wages!!

I see people talking about 120.000 wage. This was my player. I listed him for 28 mill. He was already 99 shooting and didn’t get much better after I sold. How come nobody was intrested in him then? I meen, I considered 28 mill to be fair, and it took me ages to sell him. When he was on the free transfer everyone was eager to get him. I guess to some degree everyone can be greedy. You all know it’s a wage fight when a player like this hits the free transfer. Why bother to even try if you know the player will get an insane wage? You could have had this nice player for only 28 mill!!! I ask anyone to tell me if they ever seen me in a wage battle? The answer is NO. I rather outbid someone with a player transfer, then outbid him with a higher wage. Just like WITH MANAGERSIM!!
Gabriel, can’t this simply be fixed by not allowing a high wage from your board when you offer a wage? You always see a limit? Why not lower this limit? If you do that, I think there should be something changed with the transfers. How come you can never bid more then the asking price? So that you are able to negociate alone.

Big compagnies rather sponser teams like Barca or Real, because they get far in CL and get lots of publicity. Who cares about small teams like sunderland or Brest….
This is just fine. In our fictional football game this can apply just fine. Nike would rather sponser teams like napoli, Hertha or Brest, who manage to always do well in the champions league. They rather not sponser smaller teams like Sunderland or Levante who don’t represent there brand aswell, like the big teams could. Nike wants to be “linked” to the best. It’s simpel marketing :)

Could you say that again? How does this work? The more succesfull I am there more sponsorship I get? I’ve won the league plenty and the cup, but last 3-5 seasons my income has decreased. With income I meen Merchandise+sponsorship. And…team ranking….as in ranking in the world? Or ranking in the league? Could you please tell me some details.
The admin of the game replies with uncertainty: “he probebly has a good amount of money”. Your the creator. You know how much money he has right :). I guess all Ulisses wanted to know was: “Is this manager not cheating in any way to be able to afford those wages?”.

Now usually I’m not one to complain about bad stats. They happen to everyone so that kinda makes it fair. It just sucks if you get those strange results alot after each other. Very cool to have, but I hope everyone here realizes that to some degree Ruby is still trailing Managersim. Managersim already had a detailed history. I wouldn’t mind seeing more, like loaned players? That was also in Managersim.
I sometimes forget what player was loaned by who and for how long. Can that be shown in the history of players?
