Doesn’t matter the background.
Now being more important is quite logical as there are not many good players being sold around. Few good guys do that and once you done deal with them you can not do another before next season. Another reason this being more important now is because the money is gone at the end of season, while earlier it’s shame you had to wait but at least you could save the money for future deals.
Now selling/buying has lost is meaning. The season investment solutions was good for much cheating prevention but introduced other issues, THAT need to be addressed, and that is what I am doing.
If you have done any software development you then would know that some solution introduce other side effects that need to be fixed as well. The one transfer/season/manager rule has now a bit different meaning after the new investments implementation. Surely I can not be the only one to see this?

How come you bring this up now btw? This rule has been in place for about 40+ seasons….
Really, the rule is to prevent cheating, I get that but it prevents playing.
Think about it and let it sink, it has a meaning.

Yeah, that rule should remain, it has some disadvantages but the help it brings is more important.
About the money, at the moment I think the best player in the market is Antonio Prados from Sunderland, 1Bill is a bit too much, but I would pay 700M if I had the money, very nice lad, the best in Sunderland for many years :D
No, those are are in place for cheating reasons. Filipe can confirm this rule helped to prevent something quite recently with that Ceb Cop / Romain coppens dude…
Didnt you recently make a post saying “Contrary to others strategy I sell great players. Just to challenge myself to find equal replacement”. Now no offence, but if there were many options out there, it wouldn’t be a challange now would it? :)
can’t trade with same manager more than 1 player / season, perfect example of rules needed revision.

I know by now no one, including the Developers, cares for what Davison says.
Even so here it goes: Davison, you should focus your attention in playing the game, thats what we are here to do, not complaining about everything they build for us in their own free time. I keep checking your team and each time it seems to get worse, shouldn’t you be taking care of it instead of this? How can you know the game is that bad if it seems to me you dont play it that much?

Now Sacking ment firing…….not selling. So you wrote a nice and compelling story, but it’s not relevant. I’m not seeing eye to eye with BK about the fact it’s not ‘illegal’ to fire your best player, which i feel is a clear cut case of cheating or something other then “playing rubysoccer in the way it is ment to be played”.
1. do the yout system investable
2. sort descending the money invested from all clubs investing money in youth.
3. spawn a future great player in the best invested team (at least highest chance)
So instead of losing 1Bn one can invest in youth, as no one will sell any good players anyway.

Of course selling great players with this new economy is strange, and we should pay attention to those deals and keep an eye with those managers, as we did with Romain. That said, its also true you can sell your best players and still be playing fair, I can see some reasons for that. Managers used to the old sistem can now think a 500M is a great deal, a bit dumb but it is as anything… Far from that, you can have a long turn plan for your team and think maybe it is worthit to sell a star now and be able to build a nice team for the future. i can believe that with older stars, seen that with you and me Sly, we both let Alfonso Plazuela go when he still could be main squad in our teams… Another reason may be because some offers may still be too good to resist, I bought a keeper for 770M last season, I’m very happy with the decision but I think it wasn’t a bad deal for Jota MG…
End of story, lets keep our eyes open, but be careful what we may think is cheating
No offence dude, but I feel you are the 1% here. I think 99% of all players in here won’t fire a player just because he won’t accept a 1 dollar decrease on his wage. That’s just silly and I feel it was a silly argument on the forum then.
I’m fine with ‘pleasing’ 99% of the rubysoccer community. Those are fine stats to me….
Then you re not suitable as GM (or police or whatever). You should see if the SET rules are broken and NOT assume stuff before they happen, unless you are an oracle.

In my mind and in the minds of other admins there is no logical reason for firing your best player. Thus it’s flagged as cheating.
4% at season start. Started with a draw against a relegationclub and went straight to 1%.

Sacking your best players for whatever reason even if not logical at all is NOT illegal by game rules. Even if it’s weird it’s not prohibited. I’ve been preaching about this for ages that the BOARD will punish you somehow for doing such actions.
Actually when people (players) argue about 1 dollar wage difference I very much would like to fire them no matter how good they are, but that could be me. Still nothing illegal there, that part alone.

A new group of players listed, a nice keeper with 92,4 keeping skills and good secundaries (I payed 200M for him so I think it is a good deal). A young keeper with much to improve and a nice potential. Both keepers are listed because I have now a great keeper for many seasons so wont need to improve or buy anyone else soon. Also a nice and complete D+1, not improving anymore but I think can be helpfull in most teams as main or second squad player.
Take a look and make your offers!
instead of this boring thing that is schedule the friendlies at the begining of the season, why not extend the option “schedule friendlies automatically” for all available turns? or leave this option like it is and create another for the ones that schedules in all turns.
