i agree with vaughn… this kind of limitation means country with highest ranking will have unfair advantage…
A few days back we had a poll on if managers could have a say on player growth or to keep it as it is currently.
i have one suggestion regarding that. as we know on an average an outfield player improves 140 skill points and 120 points if he is a goalkeeper. my suggestion is to allow random growth pattern (ie as current ) for 90% for the skill points. and for give managers control for the last 10%. ( if it is possible to implement.)
we can debate on how we can manage the optimum balance between basic growth and specialization..
For eg; it could be 90% random and 10% to managers by default … or if you have level 10 coaching you can have more control over specialization.
or alternately, if you pay for the game, you can have more control.
we also need to look after fake accounts or people having multiple accounts trying to sabotage players for other teams.
Finally, my point is,
As it is, i like the current system of random growth… but if we are moving towards letting managers manage the growth pattern, lets make it such that manager have only some controls, not full control… because as we all know, life is random.

and base price of players is way too inflated…
i had benfica in the same group during the group phase. now i have benfica as my first opponent in the knockout phase.
i know we need to face any opponent, but this seems quite weird that same teams meet in the first knockout round after the group phase

i have a question regarding how they are calculated?
seeing my players performance ratings overs the seasons, often makes me ask some questions…
Suppose two midfield Players A and B have skills average of 88 and 84 respectively. So, theoretically player A is a better player according to the stats. Lets say they play together in a match and play equally well…
Suppose both players score 1 each, have equal number of passes and accurate passes, tackles and accurate tackles and so on.
Then,
just curious… i personally would want the ratings to display how they played in the match regardless of their skills average…

before i knew the feature existed, it was a bug for me…

Came back from a lengthy vacation mode only to realize that my first team had been used by the system as default team for both friendly and non-friendly matches. After 11 round my first team players stamina was too low to be match fit…
there could be two solutions to this.
please consider this for future improvement. i don’t want another manager to suffer what i suffered…

In europa league,
england, france, germany, netherlands, spain, italy, portugal, turkey have 3 teams competing for the title.
But four teams (france, netherlands, spain, and turkey) have both their teams in the same group whereas the other four have their teams in separate groups.
why is it so? does this not give some countries (with teams in separate groups) a higher chance to gain more points ? (obviously they have to win first)
Also similar situation in champions league for france, portugal and spain (two teams in same group). France and spain have 4 teams, so it is understandable that two of their teams are in same group, but portugal has (only) 3 teams.
And england with 4 teams has their teams spread around in 4 groups
(if this has been already discussed before, please let me know any links to the thread)
no issues gustavo, i was just mystified at that time because you were at a higher league position and one of your goal keepers was very very good. i thought u could have stayed in the top division.
also i believe a player development is 20% less than normal time in second division. ( some game masters may be able to confirm this), but i feel that was implemented long back…
anyway… hope to see you in top division soon…

hmm, i haven’t been using it but , it has a lot of potential… and it doesn’t look good when u see it.
we could post news such as
– player hired/fired,
– managers joining and leaving a team
– players listed on loan and on sale ( current turn)
plus a lot of other features such as list of players on red or yellow cards for next league (cup) mathces
and we could start with fixing those broken links ;)
two disciplinary points means either he received two yellow cards or one red card .
two yellows could have been received in two different matches…
you can check your match reports and confirm for yourself
did you check whether he had any red cards ???
( was the whole formation changed or was it just the same formation with only one player being replaced ) ?
to confirm u can go to players statistics and see if that player had two disciplinary points ? ( for every 2 points player receives in each competition, he is banned for the next match)
(may be GMs could confirm that )
