Match Report: players statistics.
Check out the match report page, players statistics are shown in the bottom. It will only have non-zero statistics for matches played from now on, since no information was stored before.

5) Rebound offsides (players are caught offside when the ball hits the bar or is deflected by the goalkeeper)
6) Stamina will affect all skills by 1% for every 3 points below 100

I thought about it…what I’ll do is keep the skills blue (or red) for 3 turns instead of just one and add a tooltip to the skills saying how much they increased/decreased. Adding this info to the message would be complicated for translation purposes…we’d have to create a single message with all skills (and some would display an increase of 0) or lots of messages for all combinations of skills possible.
@Charles: yes, I was waiting for someone to notice. Messages are sent whenever a player gains or loses skills. :)

Players used to always run when they moved, now their pace depends on the situation and mentality. If a player moves there are 3 paces (from faster to slower):
1) When with the ball or when moving towards to ball.
2) When mentality is 0
3) When moving forward and mentality is -1 or when moving back and mentality is 1

Some offside situations were not being considered until now: when a player shoots and the ball hits the bar or is deflected a teammate could get the ball even if he was offside at the moment of the shot.
Hmmm, what is so special about this player to not follow the rules :P

We need to make this rule more flexible, that’s for sure. Currently this is not related to the manager nor to any kind of ban or punishment, this rule simply was always out there :)

I know it is not the appropriate topic and I’ll probably make a poll about it, but since you guys brought it up I’ll ask…what do you think if all leagues had 20 teams instead of some having 20, others 18, 16 or even 10 (Paraguay second division)? I’m seriously thinking about “normalizing” the leagues size so that all countries have the same chances. To do that I’d remove some teams from leagues with more than 20 (div 2 on Spain and England I guess), promote extra teams to div 1 on countries with less than 20 on div 1 and add extra teams on div 2 of countries who need it.

This is something that was changed recently and is being subject to discussions, so I decided to open a specific topic about it. The idea of keeping the loan was introduced to protect smaller teams who rely on loans to be competitive. You may say it’s not fair for the team which is buying the player, but he knows the player is loaned and should expect the player to be available only when the loan ends.
What do you think, if a loaned player is sold to another team, should the loan be terminated?

It has come to my attention that I might (ooops) have forgotten to announce that loans are not cancelled anymore when the player is sold. Sorry about that.

You swapped the values Nirabdha, it’s -1 for 30 yrs and -2 for 29 yrs :)
It doesn’t matter, it is the responsibility of the team who loaned in the player to make sure the clauses are not broken. The other team has the option to reject or even ignore your termination request :)
In your example manager B would be punished since he was the one in charge when the loaned player missed the last match. I know, it doesn’t sound fair, but manager A was in his right when he made the player miss 5 matches since he was allowed to miss even 6 ;)
I’ll fix that for you Simon. Recently we made a change were a player is still loaned when sold. I didn’t consider the case where he would be sold to the team loaning him :D
I think that was mentioned before. We’ll make sure this is included in the match engine enhancements, since we currently don’t store the number of assists.
No, your loan embargo history is not reset so after letting a player go for the third time your embargo duration will always be 45 turns whenever you let that happen again.
Of course ppl read the newspaper! I gues…anyway, ppl will read when we improve the news and add some interviews ;)

Loan Embargo
If you let loaned players return for having missed more matches than allowed by contract you will suffer from a temporary loan embargo. The duration of the embargo depends on how many times you let that happen. It will last 15 turns in the first time, 30 turns in the second and 45 turns from the third on. During the embargo you won’t be able to loan players from other teams. The goal of this enhancement is to prevent situations where the same team keeps loaning players without using them.
Currently stamina affects the players ability to recover during the match. The more tired a player harder it will be to recover. In practice, it means those with low stamina tends to become slower earlier in the match.
It is now possible to request loan termination. If the other team agrees the player is returned in the following turn.
