How can someone with 91 heading skills score 3 goals against a keeper whose heading skills is 97 ???

  • Second header goal was nearly from the centre half of the pitch? how is this possible. (time 29:35) http://www.rubysoccer.com/game/match_replay/542146
he can score goals from near the post, but from the midfield area??? i doubt anyone can..

well, first of all his status says he hasn’t logged in since two days…
And yes dhimitri, it hurts if the team is the one you love. i know how you feel for strasbourg, since you had been its manager for a long time…

i was the one to hire Labat. I am happy again to be reunited with Labat, who i nurtured during my days at Bordeaux…
the problem with contract not renewed is that even if he were to be released from the hiring team, he would go to the free market. And certainly i wouldn’t release him because i had to fire another high earning striker (http://www.rubysoccer.com/game/player_info/58505) to hire labat

no, it won’t drop again. the board evaluates after the last match of the season rather than doing so at the end of 144th turn…

charles, i just meant to say we have had different kind of restrictions here, and it is always debatable which one is better than the other… may be soccerism had a lot of rules, but if someone says “having death penalty for every offence would eradicate all the crimes in a country”, i would certainly disagree with that…

i would just want required restriction and more freedom for manager to manage his country although without him being able to abuse the finance…
i have always felt that is the best way… (but that doesn’t mean i am always right)

that must have been after the last match of the season…
i guess it is the overall evaluation of your season…

tell me what are the holes…
1) * being able to loan players, is that a hole? (you need to have minimum set of 14 players, enough check is already there)
2)* being able to hire players on free transfers, is that a hole?
(who would not hire a free player. you will probably defer, because u cannot compete against blackpool and thats why you complain a lot)

i have said on countless occasions, the player firing system is ironical, since the board doesn’t allow to lower the price on transfer list but allows to fire?? (gab do something about this, or let the board decide the most important 14 players whom you cannot fire…)

well… i want these discussions to enhance ruby soccer, so, before implementing any regulations we need to know the merits and demerits of everything…

davison, i honestly ask you to list all the holes you have seen in the game, and lets discuss on those… and find out which are really holes and which are not…

well… we do have a limit on the number of players available for your first team… so, if you think you have extra players, u should be free to do that… if you can get more of your players play official games at other teams, thats better than playing friendlies at home club…

why do ppl insist on having rules for everything… why don’t you leave something for the market forces to balance…

yes there are some things which need to be mentioned in the rules…. but not everything…
for eg, rules on firing players should be there (because club has paid for those players in terms of wages and transfer fees), and moreover i don’t like the current rule which that you can fire your best player but u can’t put him on the transfer for a value lower than what board agrees.

@sly, making a base out of something that didn’t last long i think might not have been the best idea for developers ( i am not saying it didn’t last long because it was bad). but when u make something as a base, u get both the negative and positive things from it, and i feel the developers did right by taking only the positive things and not bringing in the negative things like too much restrictions on everything. And yes, there is no such thing as utopian game, where you get everything right at first place, and i like the way game is evolving… :)

davison, if the manager has resources, he should be allowed to hire any number of players he wants… this is managerial game, and i hope it remains the same, i hope it does not become the military rule, where you have limits on everything…

How can Monaco and Marseille compete against each other in the qualifying round?? Thats not fair…
I can understand you cannot separate clubs from same country in the group phase, but what the hell, it should not be difficult in the qualifying.
The basic rule should be “two teams from same country cannot compete in champions league (or any other leagues) qualifying against each other” and should override any other rules.

davison, if there were too much in-game trade and player transfers going on, it would have been sensible… too much overpriced players and lack of enough transfer activities are a problem. transfer window would only aggrevate the problems at this point…
