My 2 cents to that topic. In a nutshell.

Player development / max skill level
- one reason the TL market is down: too easy to acquire (16-18yro) & develope 90+ players on your own
- still absolutely too many player with 90+ in main skills and secs

- suggested skill allocation at start: mainly 40 to 60, 60-70 rarely, 70+ very rare)
- according to that, a bigger difference between the countries or the teams

Big Club clause
- would be great for small (acquisation vs big teams) & big teams (“stealing”) – one of the ssim fun parts: find a 2 golden star 90+ midfielder in Andorra’s 2nd div

Economy
- major teams with success sould profit from reaching QF/SF/finals and winning trophies, not just by tickets. in RL CL winner earns ~25M Euro (throughout the tournament) by prize money only.
let’s assume this is 1/2 of yearly salaries a bigger team in RL has to pay, consequentially within Fast ticker a CL winner should earn ~13M prize money (~500k/week on salaries = 26M a year).
Teams should profit from success, not just from transfer business
Illustration – i won all titles in S34 in Fast ticker – My balance:
Earnings
Prize money: 0$
Tickets (75.000 seater): ~18M (for the tickets in league/cup) and ~5M (for CL/WC)
Sponsor and merch: ~600k/week = 30M
i guess “Sponsor and merch” is close to an average team in any league, it should be a wider range there, i mean Real Madrid probably earns much more than twice as Real Santander in RL, (just a guess ;-)
Spendings
Salaries: ~30M
Coaching(7)/Maintanance: ~ 16,5
.
So, despite transfers, a team that wins all national/international titles in a season, that pays more or less normal wages, that has some renomee (the succes in all history) just makes a profit of: 6,5M (18+5+30-30-16,5) a season -
WHAT’s THE ECONOMICAL BENEFIT OF SUCCESS?
.
I assume the difference to a team that wents 4th in league, reaches Semis in cup and QF in Europa League is marginal.
.
I would be interested in number of other teams

@Mr. Davison:
i have not been talking about your pricing, ever.
Freire lowered 10m, Martinez lowered 9m, Quiros lowered 7m, Lobo lowered 10m. So what?

No player is worth more than 65M (currently) in this game. Too many similiar quality players around. The only position that justifies maybe a special pricing is the goalkeeper imo.

i just had a similiar idea, maybe this a good point to bring it up.
how about a limit that new managers can spend in their new club within the first season. Like 10% of the club capital, maximum 15M. Maybe this would slow down cheaters.
Just an idea, not sure if it’ thats clever or not …

@Davison
the first & last time i will spent energy to react on Mr Davison:
.
1) You are obviously a pretty unbalanced guy, with less empathy and an attitude that rude & offending behaviour is necessary for life, or at least this game.
.
2) To call people e.g. w*nker, or adress them with f*ck off [edit: in ingame mails] is not appropiate in any way of communication – online or offline. Variations to found in many threads i guess.
.
3) So you lack personal respect, and that’s why i don’t think about buying players from you for seasons or answer to your insulting ingame mails.
I wouldn’t have bought Kevan (the 120m guy) from Sunderland even if you would have listed him for 5M.
Btw: I’m happy that Jakob (Bayern) took the crown, nothing is less fun then fighting for & winning titles without real competitors. ps: speaking for Jakob, it’s not sportmenship to lower the prices (from 140 to ~95m) first, and then re-raise twice when someone meets the demanded price – if there is just one bidder.
.
4) My transfer listed players: To be honest i haven’t been looking so much on the TL in general and my TLed in particular for the last for 3 seasons. fortunately, i’m not in the need to sell my players … IMO 6,5m for a 30+yo solid 98-tackler with 90-secs was a good price, the 39,5m for Morillo is just a label, make it 10m, it fits the same, Dutra for 34,5 what’s wrong with that, he’s growing …
.
enloy the game!

the owner of a player should be able to sell a player – if loaned out or not.
.
but the manager who uses the loaned player, should be given a “transmission time”.
.
When the deal is done (transfer is final, cash exchange) the player stays for additional 6 turns on his side, then he wents to the buying manager. 6 turns should be ok for rearrange the formations and looking out for new loans.

don’t know if this complaint already came up.
fast> CL qualification> 2 german teams play each other. that’s a huge disadvantage for germany for uefa ranking. So for every other country whose teams play against each other before group stage.

i would suggest to implement some further maths to the ranking points arithmetic. it just feels weird when you lose 0,5 points by winning the CL and lose another ~0,5 points for the WC title (both matchs were ties with penalty shootout).

the dependecy on results should be flanked by the impotance of certain matches (e.g. in league winning/draw against top 5 team) and reaching certain competition levels, e.g. the group stage/semis etc. in any international cup or a national cup final.
Plus negative points for not achieving the goals set by the board.

wonder why the neswpaper doesn’t cover the CL final match?

you misunderstood me Sly. I dont care about meeting another german team in the quarters or semis. i care about balanced groups (strength and with minor relevance, nationality) and i would prefer that teams dont meet so soon again after group stage (no matter if they are from the same country or not …).
I’m aware that the modi used in RS probably have RL references, but i just speak out what i like most. If others see it the same way, fine. If not, good.

i’d like to add a suggestion for the CL finals stage: teams from the same group shouldn’t meet again before the finale.
Currently the advancing 2 teams always meet again in semi-finals already, if both won their quarterfinals.
