sorry, Berhan, I still consider this as a “bug” …
But if Gabriel wouldn’t have fired him manually, I’d be have been fine with this instance as well. I do not want to have any privilege.
.
Regarding your interest of 200m, I just recognized this happened to me, too, – but only 75m are missing, Gabriel could you please go ahead! ;)

Many thanks, Gabriel. According to my formula he was not 2nd best ;-) Anyway, a manager should be able to release a guy (right away) who announces his will to retire at the end of a season.

I wanna fire a 38yro striker, but the board rejects my will to release this guy (“This player is too important to the squad to be fired.”).
.
He’s useless to me, by value the 4th best striker in my squad. Only 1 player listed for sale, 1 loaned.
.
Gabriel/Danilo, can you please fire him … thanks!

now he’s $259,407,890 – OMG!
thanks to this thread, now i’m aware that players can grow beyond their 26th bday. But this obviously does not happen very often …
.
How about some hidden values being enabled by playing for a big team, winning a trophy, playing caps, etc ??
Vice versa, losing skills by playing rarely in first team or playing a minor league/country ?

in medium ticker, in quarter finals Hertha BSC face Rennes, a team from the group phase. This must be a bug, right? Shouldn’t it be Torino for Hertha here?

When a manager gets fired will the formation set up’s annulled? Or will my successor see the tactics i have had set up?

Re: Squad selection

You have 12 turns to change the players in our squad for the next competition. "

What does this mean?

Re: “-Maximum value for transfer price: you cannot transfer list a player asking more than 3 times his estimated value.”
.
good approach, but i guess from now on no one will sell/TL a player 23yro or younger due their lower value (~2-6m) x3 …
.
what about: listing price stays unlimited. but all transfers with a transfer price above 3x the value have to get approval (hard coded) by a GM after the negotiations ?

Gabriel, is their an option to prioritize your applications? And does it have any (negative) effect on your 1st option if you apply for other jobs as well?

1) f – fire all who perform weaker than their expectations (QF, Semis, Final etc) – expectation/ranking bases on country ranking (?) – never fire a manager when his wins the trophy

2) f – fire all who perform weaker than their expectations (QF, Semis, Final etc) – expectation/ranking bases on country ranking (?) – never fire a manager when his wins the trophy

3) d – don’t pre-select the players. Let the coach do all the gold digging for his. And give him the chance to nominate “strange” players, like in real life

Hi guys!
my two cents …
a) Being manager of a national team is great, but it’s not a full time job (at least in here). Therefore I would like to avoid seeing my club beeing CPUed in the meantime!
b) Everybody should have a fair chance to get nat coach. But manager with great credentials should be prefered (as in real life). It should be an extra becoming a nat coach, and not as easy as the driver seat for a club.
c) Nat teams that fulfill their competition goals (e.g. “qualify for WC” or “reach finals”) should not automatically fire their coach. They should keep him, if he agrees. For a max of 6 seasons (2 full cycles). Nat teams goals that fail their objectives hard, fire the coach instantly.
d) a nat manager should be able to select/assign at least 4 player (1 for each position), individually to the nat squad. That ensures that “special” needs & tactics of a manager can be supported.
e) Will EC and Copa be the qualification for WC? Or will all teams participate on WC anyway? My recommendation would be EC/Copa (year 1) as qualification for the WC (year 2). Afterwards one season break (year 3) for discussing the managers replacement or the like. Before starting with EC/Copa again (year 4).

Great addition! But please add an icon to players profile and the (club) team players page asap. And maybe the clubs on the nat team players page next to the names.
I agree, the nat teams shouldn’t selected by $value, but by skills (for each position and the prefered system of the nat team). e.g. this one is in FT Germany’s goalie: http://www.rubysoccer.com/game/player_info/57795.
Clubs should receive cash for their international players when they play EC or WC – and the merchandising etc should increase a lot. In reference to that the “stars” from ssim will be good next enhancement.
.
thanks, mates!

@Cristiano
1 – i got 10M more than expected. the other M was not 13M worth, but 2M. both facts agreed. both deals could be cancelled if Gabriel or Danilho have the feeling that they are suspicious. Game masters currently do not have the tools to check in detail.
2 – the evaluation of how much a player is worth implicits a subjective factor (key player, missing links, …) – not everyone wants a 100shooter with 90 in dribbling, but a striker with 80+ in tac&pas, so they may prefer a 90sho with 90+ in dri and 85 in tac&pas
3 – so your player (http://www.rubysoccer.com/game/player_info/109059) maybe worth 100M for you and 2-3 other managers, but not for me. it doesnt depend on if i find similiar player for sale, but here we go (listed for sale within the last 20 turns):
http://www.rubysoccer.com/game/player_info/109008 (54m)
http://www.rubysoccer.com/game/player_info/111832 (49m)
http://www.rubysoccer.com/game/player_info/107813 (29m)
http://www.rubysoccer.com/game/player_info/105115 (69m)
4 – And what is with your listed player http://www.rubysoccer.com/game/player_info/119294
80M for a 86-keeper? ok, he is 20yro and has potential, but if someone would pay you this, i demand cancelation aswell (if i were you) …

I would not have paid 22,5M for Rüter (90sho, all others skills 80’s & 90’s) – though he is strong.
But you can not blame me that someone pays the price that i demanded, probably I would have lowered to 10-15m if he asked for. But the manager did not try to negotiate a smaller price … so?
I was surprised myself. You forgot to mention that at the same time I sold another player to him: http://www.rubysoccer.com/game/player_info/99814.
.
So, take back your slander …
and lower the price (100M ??) for your striker: http://www.rubysoccer.com/game/player_info/109059
Otherwise I buy him for that price and call you … a cheater then! ;-)

Both players always play as substitutes, just 35 minutes. Maybe that’s why their ratings are relatively bad. Anyway, I wouldn’t care about ratings when I buy players …
