We will look into it, the behaviour you describe is typical ghost accounts, we need to carefully check their history but whatever the result you did well reporting this, I don’t remember any GM had noticing this before…
Several players improved after the coaching get to 0, I guess it still let players improve and they were almost near the point of improvement… You can loan him and see for yourself :D He may reach 100 tackle yet as only at 31 they cant improve…
My 29 y.o still improving defender just improved, you can loan him to confirm this :D He´s already a great defender with all the skills important for the job (takle, speed, heading, aggress)…

I just tried to do the bankrupt thing, big mistake :D The board sells a random player in your team so you can get 20M as you can get 1M and have no way of getting the couching level up again lol
Well, Aaron Hardyman, just got his price reduced to half :D He’s still improving but already worth the 10M

I have some fault there too as there are almost no news translation to portuguese eheh
Gabriel is it possible to separate the code and maybe let someone work in this part while you guys work the big stuff? I don’t understand a thing about that but I’ve seen people here that do…
oh, there is a trick to get ride of those players I used when got to Newcastle. At the end of season if you have space in the team you hire retiring players that are best than the one you want to fire, if the board sees there are better players than that one in the team than they let you fire him, when the new season starts the retiring players retire and you have fired the crappy one :D
I have the same problem in Newcastle, as I’m building the team with young players I wont need the older ones, yet they are my best players (actual skills) so the board doesn’t allow me to fire them. I think the latest change to the CPU buying strategy was a good thing, but maybe now there should be some exceptions to the rigid board rules, I suggested before this rules should be dependent on the manager reputation, now we have the reputation thing it could be used for that. If a manager has a good reputation he should be able to fire players like the ones we cant fire, cheaters would continue to have the restrictions…
Other rules like the minimum price to ask for a player or the number of players we can fire in a turn could be dependent on manager reputation too…
We all eventually will, crapy players will begin to be fired instead of listed for transfer, all player prices will eventually drop as so as player value and eventually those prices will fell like the normal prices to us, it takes time but we will adjust to the changes :D
Aaron Hardyman just improved again, 6 total points :D I’m starting to believe he can reach 100 tackle so I may raise the price, take him before I regret :D

Well, in FT I started in Newcastle just a few turns ago and sold 4 players already, all to CPU teams, the only thing is I sold them for what they actually worth (almost nothing), maybe more as I was willing to pay them to leave the team… If or when this game is more popular we will have mostly all teams managed by human managers, I guess then it will be even harder to sell this crappy players so we better get used to that…
Just one correction, before the board removes the players they will lower the coaching level so only when it reaches 0 and you still have money problems they will remove a player and give you money.
Don’t think it is worth it, and defenatly not worth the time to do that, lots of good players in free transfers and some others listed almost for free so no need for money really, it would be faster with money, but it is still possible, Newcastle account is now 3M :D
Aaron Hardyman, good defender 29 y.o STILL IMPROVING lol I couldn’t believe but it is truth he just went from 93 to 95 tackle and improved secundaries too, God knows how much he will improve but I’m selling him anyway, take a look:

True, a great job there Dimiter, but as I said to you the game hasn’t enough managers to have more competitive leagues… And without human managers no matter how good the teams are, CPU managers are no match for the teams playing international competitions… They can make it to 6th in the ranking maybe as Portugal is going to the same desertification Holland is, but to compete against teams from almost full human leagues like France, Spain or England you need human managers, they can even make something in Europa Legue but only counts half the points CL does, in CL the competition is too much for CPU teams to handle.
I think Gabriel already cleared that, the game removes one player from your team and you get the value he was worth, the player simply disappears, cant be hired from someone else. Anyway you have so many players that could be sold in the market you don’t need to go bankrupt… I have 6M in Newcastle but cant sell anyone but the average defender…
Congrats, well deserved title against one wonderful opponent, I guess there’s no better way to leave a team, I wanted to do the same but well, I had no chance against Valladolid :D
Hope to see you soon in Division 1, my Newcastle will take some time but I promise you a great fight in the next years :D
Newcastle is selling every player in the team, chances to make good deals for anyone who wants, all but one player will be sold for minimum price the board alows (10% their value) most of the players have no value so will be fired, some of the youngs have no interest to me but can be useful if you want to risk on them, this things we never know and I let many execelent players gone for free before…

Other players can still be useful for many teams around:
Aaron Hardyman D RC 28 y.o
Tackle: 93
Pass: 72
Shoot: 74
Speed: 82
Drible: 75
Control: 79
Heading: 86
Agress: 40
An average defender that will brind more options to most teams in the game, has good values in the most important skills so wont let you down. Price 7M
Enrique Lorenzo M LC 31 y.o
Tackle: 75
Pass: 88
Shoot: 73
Speed: 87
Drible: 94
Control: 94
Heading: 92
Agress: 74
Old but not that old mid, can still make many seasons and he as top secundary skills. The price?… well… take a look :D
Philipp Maas A AC 33 y.o
Takle: 81
Pass: 77
Shoot: 85
Speed: 95
Drible: 93
Control: 87
Heading: 89
Agress: 72
This one is old but can help any team that plays with a A-1, in my opinion he is a great A-1… Tackle, speed, Drible, aggressiveness. Listed for 10% his price, a player to use till he retires for mostly no price… 2,2M
I’m the new manager of Newcastle United so the job in Manchester is no open :D
Newcastle has all players for sale at crazy prices, also the team star Aaron Hardyman, a nice defender listed for 10M… Just check and take it :D
As the season is ending sooner than I wanted I’ll leave Manchester on turn 130. Many of the young players surprised me with crazy improvements this last days so the future seems even more bright than what I’ve imagined…
For those who want to start over come join us in Division 1, Ricardo Ramos already came from Brazil to Coventry and I know many others are coming at the end of the season, take your chance and compete with us since the very beginning…
Now youre jumping from team to team? :P You must have an bankrupt attraction thing :P
You know you can see formations in the match replay right? I’ve always used him as a mid, M+1 as Dhimitri said…
Nevermind, I forgot he played for the National team lol Got injured there :D
You really just need to sell one player :D And that John Scrutton is the one, you will lost one great promising player but you’ll have the money to restart the team…
I don’t remember this been added to the improvements list and it is the first time it happens so it should be a bug…
My player Luis Lopes got injured without any injury in his last played match… Take a look:
http://www.rubysoccer.com/game/player_info/144017
You have been away to long Parag :P I think Gueugnon manager used his young team so they can improve, the season is ending and he can’t achive anything this season so at least he improves his younger players, you should be doing the same, an european spot is impossible so nothing more to fight for…
@Dimitri and Antonin
No ofense but you guys are dead wrong, I’ll gladly discuss this with you but for me a competitive league must have almost all teams human managed, 6-7 top teams that can fight for the title and still make a good contribution for their country in the international leagues. Holland or Turkey have none of this, England and Spain are becoming more and more like that, France has been there for many seasons but I think will not keep this way without the managers that gone to Spain.
@Dhimiter, Charles and Sly
You probably right but I hope some good manager sees this as a challenge to prove you wrong :D We already created a great pressure on him and he’s not even in the team yet lol It isn’t a job for anyone…
One of the best defensive midfielder in the game listed for 7M… One of the most important factors of my success in MU and still can be for another team at least this and another season:
http://www.rubysoccer.com/game/player_info/148537
Nuno Paiva still listed for 70M, the time for this deal is ending, I doubt the next manager will ask the same. I tend to let players go cheap :D
I think we all will need to sell players cheaper, eventually that will feel like the fair price, in economics it is called deflation (general price lowering). Players will be cheaper but they will be cheaper for everyone so we just need to adapt. It may also drop teams quality in the future but again it will be that way for all teams.
You’ll be in EPL next season so it will be easier for players to improve, as Vaughn said lowering your coach level would save you some money.
Sly I considered that too, but I dont think it would be good for the game, I think some of the best managers in England would follow me and than there would be no challenge for Spain to dominate… This way we keep things balanced, I think the fight will be between England and Spain but France for sure wont let it be that easy so the competition in Europe promises to be intense
After 16 seasons with Manchester I think it is time for a new challenge, I’ll be leaving the team at the end of this season. I leave with the feeling of mission accomplished, won most of the domestic titles and in my opinion made Manchester one of the more consistent teams playing the CL.
I’m hoping Manchester gets a good manager (and so the reason for this post) as I think it still is the best team in England and one of the best in Europe. Many of the 24-26 players are still improving and have my full confidence in their future so the team can be fighting for every competition at least some 7, 8 seasons without much effort. In any case the 180M back account can provide an easy substitution of the older players :D
I’ll make sure to let you know the turn I’ll leave (it will depend on how well CL goes) so everyone interested in getting the team can apply.
As for me time is to start a new team from nothing (or almost), I’ll start a team in Division 1 (England), some great managers have already started teams there now so I think the time is perfect for competing with them since the very beginning of our teams…
Cheers
The other manager wont know you are applying, but he knows how low his performance is so may count with that…
You can revoke your application any time in the Profile menu, if not the application will stand there until you take over the team or if the manager gets his performance higher than 10% (not sure about this one)
Hope you’re not thinking about leaving England now Division 1 is getting so many great managers :D
