Sincerely, i like the game as it is right now. For me, the only handicaps are the match’s algorithm and the youth upgrade calculation. The match algorithm tends to give a great emphases on goal keepers (even when they are not that great) making it hard to score goals even when we have 20/25 shots on target. The other remark is the youth players: it’s very rare to have 2 or 3 reasonsable good players that we can promote to the principal squad. Most of the time, the game gives you an average rated player player that will eventually end up in the free transfer. Once in a while a Ronaldo or a Messi could came along :)

Yes, it was a “fixed” match. Martin Robillard from Grenoble played with a non keeper youth player in goalie, hence the score. I lost at home to Grenoble in the next CL match but there he played with his first (and only keeper). I asked him (via mail) the reason why he played this time with a “real” keeper. Still waiting for the answer.

Well, it took me another 51 seasons but I did it again. This time with GLORIOSO. League champion with just home made players. See you in 50 seasons :)))
One suggestion for next season: board points to increase the youth team. The more points you give to the youth, the higher is the probability of a reasonable good player to appear. Also provide a greater improvement with matches (including friendlies).
Just had 6 players returned from loan because the coaching level of the loaner’s dropped :(

One of my best players :( Out for 5 games when i need him the most. Besides prevent stamina dropping, shouldn’t the algorithm also prevent this from happening?

He didn’t played any matches and I’m certain that in the previous tick everything was OK with him.
I have a player loaned to a CPU manager (http://www.rubysoccer.com/game/player_info/210012) and i have requested a loan termination. But I haven’t received any feedback and the request is still pending. Feature or defect?

How does the retiring algorithm works? Because i have 2 players, both strikers. One is 37 and the other is 36. The one with 36 years old is 96 in shooting and, for my misery, he’s retiring this season :(

I think there is a bug in Rank and Achievements. I’ve won the National Cup in season 54 and it’s not appearing in Bronze achievements.

Sorry, but i disagree. It all comes down to a negotiation, or as we say in portuguese: regatear!!!
Why can’t we reject a proposal and expect that the other party to lower his wages intentions!!!??? It’s a process and we both parties reach a number that both are ok with then the contract is signed.

Nothing compared to “Tigre’s youth factory”.
I have been manager for Académica since season 25. My best performance came in season 46 when i won the league and the cup. But that was the “peak” for my team, when i had key players for each position mainly a average G (89 keeping), a D C with 100 in tackling, a good midfielder and a striker that scored… Now, the players emerging from my youth team aren’t that good. Better days will come!!!
Funny enought the last post from Gabriel mentioned that the draw algorithm was improved. Well, it’s seems that it still needs some “oilling” :).
Can’t complained though… end up in the group that has the only computer team. Maybe i can win a couple of matchs. All the rest are what i call “rubysoccer sharks”.
After playing this game for 46 seasons, i finally reached my main objective: i won both the league and the cup with a squad made entirely of “home” players. No other portuguese or foreign players. All home made :)))

I confirm that the same happened to me. I have 2 teams: the first squad and reservers. All matches are setup with the reserve team.
Could be possible to improve europe (champions and league) draws, and try to reduce the chances of teams from the same country end up in the same group. Look at the example of this season champions league group 2. It has 3 team from Portugal. Needless to say that this is bad for countries ranking.
Like in real life, UEFA manages the draw so that in the group phase, team from the same country can’t be drawn togheter. It would be great if this idea could be implemented in RS.

Right… i had my suspections that had to do with my miserable performance in the Europa League. Althought, domesticly i had got a fair enough result.
It’s been a lot time since may last post here :)
Any problems detected in manager rankings!!!??? Suddenly my performance dropped radically to 74%.

When trying to search for a player position DC, free transfer and at least 70 in tackle i get no results but i’m sure there are same player with these features.

For same unknown reason, Ruby rejected a number of friendlies requests in turn 11, season 17.
I checked with my friend in Belenenses and he said that i didn’t rejected any invitation.
