Any thoughts why the present manager in Académica (Fast Ticker) is selling all the best players?

It seems a renovation is going on. He sold all the old players (29+) and he has actually kept the best players, which are quite young. He might risk getting fired because of the results, but the idea is not bad and he’s got a good core for the future (your investment of the future) :)
