Hmmm, looks like you’re still receiving them for lower transfer proposals…did the value offered change?

I know this is an old thread but I have been thinking on this recently and thought posting it here would be better than starting a new thread.

What is the likelihood of having yellow cards carrying over to the next games only being applicable to tournament/cup matches and not general league matches?

I have been perusing the soccer rules and it the game rules it only informs when yellow cards are given.

When it comes to games itself, from what I have read on the net, it seems that the only situation where yellow cards remain active outside the game it is issued and carries forward to the next game is in cups/tournaments. i.e. the world cup. In normal soccer league matches once the game is over the yellow card is wiped and doesn’t carry over to the next game.

If I am wrong in my assumption or information gathering, I would like someone to provide a more clarifying explanation of soccr rules for yellow cards.

P.S. I have edited this post after seeing an error in it.

How about displaying the newest members of the game in the front page?. After they join the game we can see what country they are from etc.and current users can welcome them if they want. Veteran managers may give some advise, ease their learning phase .This can make things easier for them in the end and would be good for the community.

Getting more users is a challenge already and we wouldn’t want new comers get frustrated and leave, soon after they join.

What do you think?

You don’t get +3 anymore in home games, it’s -3 in away games now.
It is possible that your youth players are getting better, but there are aslo alot of other things to consider besides lvl 10 and 9 coaching. Lvl 10 and 9 isn’t a big of diiference ;)

Is your stamina better then the opponent? Are you playing home or away? Are you playing with different tactics for home and away games? Are your tactics suitable for your players? And alot more that u can think of…

I won’t go into details or i spoil to much ;) Hope this helps.

My guess:

- your youths are getting better
- you have played the hardest games outside and in the second half you are doing this games in home stadium (+3 points in every skill)

Valencia has made a transfer proposal for Lee Polston whose value is lower than the specified price. You must lower the transfer price if you wish to accept this proposal.

i thought this was fixed??? i got 3 messages for the same transfer..

This is my second season in Spanish Primera Division, and i have noticed some unusual similarity between first and second season. I am not sure but then every season my team (which is quite young, but underdeveloped) starts with losses, and always finds itself in relegation zone. But then in the second half of the season, that thing changes dramatically.
Yes, last season for the first half of the season i was in the relegation zone, but eventually finished 14th. This season i was in the bottom of the table for first 14 or some games, then started crawling back (getting 6-0, 6-1 results), now i am in 13th. I might also go down, or may be move up, both are possibilities.

Just wanted to know why is this trend occuring every season???

  • One reason might be that league is competitive, (which i don’t think is the right answer, coz i have been getting results with huge differences, wins at 5-0, 6-0 etc and even losses at the same rate, although there have been some close results too)
  • Another reason might be my coaching skills, which is at 9 compared to 10 for other teams. Since 10 level teams improve better in the first half of the season and the 9 level teams improve slightly slowly. I am not saying level 10 teams do not improve in the second half, but then, may be they earn all the “earnable” or “potential” points sooner than other coaching levels.

Apart from that i don’t have any rationale explanation as to why is this happening. I guess i got a couple of players from free transfers and bought one, but they are not necessarily better than those i have with me. And also i have sold a couple of mine as well… So, the transfer activity has been pretty much even so far and the core of the team hasn’t changed much.

i know its difficult to explain and the season is still on. i might still end up getting relegated, but then curiosity got better of me:)

If interested in other players, send me an ingame message. I probably put him on the transferlist.

Indeed Alberto Chaves is a fantastic player. But I think perhaps there are a lot of good candidates for the “best player” award. Take my own midfielder Gabriele Meniconi from Napoli:
483 official matches, 51 goals and an total average of 9.64. He has been awared MoM 132 times. There must be other great candidates for the prestigeous title :-)

We’ve received some complaints about that…I haven’t added lower division titles to keep only the most important titles on that page, but it’s not a big deal to add it :)

I just noticed this,
I see that there is no recognition for wining a second division or for example Brazil Série B.
For example by looking at Ceará from Brazil Season 26 they won the Série B championship and under the Top Scorers there is also a box that says “Last Champion” and there is a list of teams that were better that 19 other teams that played in the same league, and that deserved some recognition.

http://www.rubysoccer.com/game/team_titles/35

Now by looking at the Teams Page in the “Titles” tab, you can see that there are no titles no thing is listed.

What does it mean “No titles won so far.”

what about Série B Champion

Is there a way that this can be added?

What about managers, do they get credit for promoting a team to the top division as champions?

Not many top division managers care what happens in the lower division, but lets face it reality is that there are 2 champions in a country every season, and in lower divisions whoever is champion, means that it was the best of the season.

Update from version 0.1.2 to 0.1.6

Changes:

  • New columns in youth table too :)
  • Little change in formula of VA (value/age)

Who has tried or is using this script? Just for me to know if I still uploading it or just use locally

Have fun

looking at some of the TOP players I came accross Santo André’s Alberto Chaves, looking at his stats, I am not affraid to say he is the Best Striker in FT, not only his stats show this but also his preformance, (as of Season 27, Turn 74) he has played 523 matches (official) with an overall ranking of 9.17!!! and has been MOM 110 times!!! what I think is most impressing is that he has 751 goals!!!! at only 28 he has a great chance of becoming the greatest goal scorer in history and the best player in FT.

well… i had hope of climbing above relegation zone and got a win too, exactly enough to be in safe place, but then Getafe lost to that 17th place team:( … Can’t even complain of match fixing :S
