Anti Cheating..
For a cup game it’s normal… you can check it with the other cup games.

Fast ticker… my team (Roma) is newly promoted and in 4th place (very early). I’m @ 100% rating with the board. Playing first National Cup game, at home… stadium holds 40,000+… attendance is 16,000 ???
That seems wrong. I would expect the fans would be very excited, and I’d get a packed stadium!

Yes , it’s normal because Word Cup is still going on. Even teams already eliminated can’t change their players if a competition is happening.

I’ve just taken over and they are out of the World Cup. I presume that it will be start of next season when i get that message and i can change the squad. At the moment i can’t see an icon to click on.
Btw Davison, I must correct you here. “my wages are fucking low”. I’m sorry but I count 12 players with a wage of 20k+. I only have 4 players on 20k plus. I would say your wages are very high in my eyes.
The amount of points a player can evolve is pre-determined but they are not all available since the player is “born”, a random percentage of them becomes available every season start.
1) The amount of points for each skill is pre-determined, randomly allocated. When the player improves he will improve skills randomly, but only the skills which still have points available to improve.
2) No, the number of skill points earned when the player improves does not depend on how many points he still has to improve in total.
3) They become accumulated…and they’re not really “extra” points, they’re part of the overall points available, it is just that youth academy players get a higher percentage of their total points per season.

You cannot change the players during a competition, once the competition ends you’ll receive a message saying you’re now able to change the players in the squad. In order to do that just go to the players list and you’ll see an icon to the left of each players name. Click on that and you’ll be redirected to a screen where you can pick a replacement for that particular player. The player replacement screen allows you to compare the attributes of the player you are replacing with the available replacements.
