It did cost me points though, since I was forced to play with 88 stamina and ended up losing vs a cpu…. :(
I noticed the stamina of my players was in the 80’s. When I check the stats it says they played 4 games in the premiere league. That’s impossible since we only had 2 games this season….

@Davison: Sorry dude, but I really feel I need to say something else this time. Usually I’m on ‘your side’. I don’t recall ‘picking on you’ openly in the forum, but seeing you have such a nice speech I would love to point out some statistical facs for you. I think the entire community will agree that you seem to speak your mind the most on the forum. It’s also safe to say that 95% of this is always quite negative about the game. Either the engine is bullshit and it’s all based on luck. Either the economy is shit and there are no good players for sale, except the ones you are selling off course.

Now, I feel to some degree, you are not the right person to really complain, since you still need to learn the basics on how to build a great team. I don’t think a different economy or game engine is going to help you.
Let me give you 1 good tip. Perhaps it’s an idea not to sell those good players?

No, those are are in place for cheating reasons. Filipe can confirm this rule helped to prevent something quite recently with that Ceb Cop / Romain coppens dude…
Didnt you recently make a post saying “Contrary to others strategy I sell great players. Just to challenge myself to find equal replacement”. Now no offence, but if there were many options out there, it wouldn’t be a challange now would it? :)

Now Sacking ment firing…….not selling. So you wrote a nice and compelling story, but it’s not relevant. I’m not seeing eye to eye with BK about the fact it’s not ‘illegal’ to fire your best player, which i feel is a clear cut case of cheating or something other then “playing rubysoccer in the way it is ment to be played”.
No offence dude, but I feel you are the 1% here. I think 99% of all players in here won’t fire a player just because he won’t accept a 1 dollar decrease on his wage. That’s just silly and I feel it was a silly argument on the forum then.
I’m fine with ‘pleasing’ 99% of the rubysoccer community. Those are fine stats to me….

In my mind and in the minds of other admins there is no logical reason for firing your best player. Thus it’s flagged as cheating.
Yes and no. These are the correct penalties, but remember with the new economy system and changes made it now depends on the stadium level of your opponent. If they have stadium 10 then you will have -3 on all players no matter how old they are.
Well in my eyes it’s cheating. Please explain in what universe it’s normal to sack your best player? It can only be for cheating purposes in my eyes., thus it should always be considered cheating.
There are restrictions in place for this, but they are simply not perfect. The board sometimes refuses to fire a certain player. Don’t ask me about all the detals though. This is something gabriel need to answer

Now if you want to compare him to the defenders of sunderland, then I have to correct you some more. He’s indeed not better then prados, but I also don’t consider him to be better then: César Moreira, Luiz Monte. Wether he’s better then Mamadou Rondeau could be up for debate. I’ll give you Ricardo Valente, compared to him your guy Quero is probebly better.
But, I must say I feel he’s not better then atleast 7 of sunderlands players :)
Yeah that’s not true Filipe, I like the way you try to market your players, but common be real here. Quero is not a good player. He’s not better than Nivaldo Tavares, Philippe Dreux, Dionisio Bocija, Mike Gaughan.

That’s a strange statement. Off course some can be legendary. If everyone can give the same input, then why does Rui Antunes have 12 CL titles and 28 league titles? Because of luck? Don’t make me laugh :). Now, with that same logic, why does Davison who’s been active since season 13 have 1 EPL title? Because of badluck?
Ok let’s see it from a different point of view. If i would play chess vs Garry Kasparov or Bobby Fisher, it should be 50/50 according to your logic? Afterall my queen can move in the same way as there queen can right? WRONG….there is more then just giving input. It’s knowing what input to give in which situation. or better yet, ask yourself…..what actually is the right input?

You all seem to miss one point except Filipe. He’s just using this forum to market his players :). He’s better of saying his goaly has 91.2 stopping power then saying “he’s 86 avarge skill”. It’s simple marketing….
Just like it’s better to say “he’s a rising star for your team”, instead of “I have a player I’m selling because I believe he won’t be that good, so please buy him from me”.
Plus, the added bonus now is that he has established a dialoge with the community. He can now BE SURE everyone has checked that goalkeeper because of the discussion that is going on :). This is called ‘creating awareness’ :), which in his case has an inderect effect on increasing sales :P.
All I have to say about this is, Well done Filipe! You got a true branding strategy going here………Google, Microsoft, Coca Cola, Apple and now Middlesbrough…..:)
