Last season (88) Colombia Won the World Cup, this season (89) Colombia has won Copa America and Deportivo Pereira will play the Libertadores Final against Grêmio.

Interesting that with only 3 human managers, Colombia is getting really good results lately.

Colombia currently has 3 players with red cards, and they are about to play Spain for the World Cup Final. Zebulon Gonzales received a red card in the first game against Greece, and he has not played since, the final will be the fifth match to be played and he still has a red car. Acacio Ramírez had 2 yellow cards the first one in match 1 against Greece and the second yellow in match 2 against France, he has not been able to play since match 3 against Netherlands. And the 3rd player with a red is Eulises Redin he got a red card on the last match against Argentina, therefore he will be the only one that would be unavailable to play the last match if this bug would be fixed.

The logic needs to be changed regarding injured keepers with no more substitutions available. During the Libertadores quarter final match against Chacarita Juniors my keeper was injured at the 60th minute, and since I had already made all my substitutions, he was not able to be subbed, this is normal and I understand this, the problem is that my team played 30 minutes without a keeper, I think the logic needs to be changed so that a player already in the field takes the keeper’s spot (it can be picked using the payer with better keeper rating already in the field). Luckily Chacarita only scored 1 goal when I had no keeper.

That is funny how the player that missed the last penalty kick for his team would be named Man of the Match. Vicente Sanches in Copa America Final. In real life if you miss the last penalty kick, it kind of cancels out the great game you had in 90+ minutes, I think it should have been Argentina’s Keeper the one that should have been MOM

what do you think?

Congrats Joseppi!!!

Colombia is currently in 9th place is the overall ranking and 3rd is the South American ranking with only 3 active managers, (hopefully Colombia bumps takes France’s 8 place this season).
Joseppi has created and is currently creating great Colombian players and all that hard work is paying off, there are a lot of great young players in Colombia. All that is needed is a lot of patience and a little luck developing players; hopefully Colombia attracts more managers and becomes a South American powerhouse in a near future.

this same team also beat my team both games last round in CL, I have a few above average players, and the scores were only 1-0 and 2-0, but loosing 6-0 seems to be a little too much, and not a normal result. maybe a bug

I thought that 2 teams that faced eachother in group stage could not play against eachother in the first round of direct elimination, I faced chacarita in group stage and then in direct elimination first round is that allowed, very unrealistic, can that be prevented in the future?

giving points to group matches only might not be a good idea, Small countries will never get points because they will not have the team to beat a good “established” team, the only way you can get points if you are a weak team is to face and win a weaker team which will be hard, I think points should be given to qualifing matches (in South America) only until there are 32 teams in group stage. and the only way to have this and to be fair is to have more countries becasue if only 7 countries have 32 teams in group the advantage will always be for Argentina and Brazil.

I also had a question about the way the rankings are working with new countries,
I manage Deportivo Pereira (Colombia), last season I was 1st in Primera A, the best I could do in international competition the next season, was play a qualifying match against Deportivo Quevedo (Ecuador) I won my 2 matches (both 3-0) that gave me a change to go to the Group Stage, then Independiente Medellín (Colombia) tied both of the qualifying matches against Tanque Sisley (Uruguay) in Sudamericana (unfortunately Independiente Medellin was disqualified) looking at the points for Colombia up to that point we had less points that Switzerland and they had 2 teams playing qualifying matches in both (1 in each CL and EL) the 2 teams lost all 4 matches and then 2 other teams automatically qualified to Group Stage, Basel got 8.108 points for simply playing in Group stage.
I see a disadvantage for South American teams in the way the rankings are set up. (It could be because of the number of leagues in Europe against South America) but something needs to be fixed

For the 3rd consecutive season Strasbourg’s Philippe Provost has taken the “Top Scorer” title, this season (19) with 28 goals in France’s Ligue 1.

Season 18 with 38 goals, and season 17 with 31 goals, this makes him one of the most prolific strikers in Ligue 1. Winning “Top Scorer” for the first time in season 14 scoring 85 times. This makes the 4th season that Provost has won the title in the last 7 seasons, while Paris-SG’s excellent striker Kamel Gaultier has taken the other 3 titles.

Future looks bright for Philippe Provost, at only 24 he is one of the most dominating forwards in France, and he has the numbers to prove it.

Played 313 Official matches,
Scored 391 Official goals
AVG Goals 1.24 per match
MotM 57
