…your nightmare is my dream lol!

In all seriousness, there’s no good reason why I made it through the next round…

Thank you for the very kind words Dhimitri!!! In all honesty, it was completely unexpected in the sense that I was confident to be able to finally re-qualify for a CL spot after a few seasons in the Europa league but I certainly did not expect Marseille to lose such form towards the end of the season. This is definitely a welcomed addition to my trophy case along side my Europa Cup win last season. Ultimately, what paved the way for the division title was you leaving for Liverpool. I’m sure that Valenciennes would’ve most probably gotten a few more wins under your management. Edit Mind you, the new manager (Thomas) did win a 3rd consecutive Europa Cup for France… Edit

Last but certainly not least, congratulations to Sylvain for finally wining the Champions League with Brest!

Well based on previous experience, they’ll (hopefully) go on a major losing streak effectively shutting them out of international competition.

It’s happened to other CPU controlled teams throughout the past few seasons.

The current leader in Europe’s strongest league is managed by the CPU.

For how much longer can Boulogne-sur-Mer keep it up…

Allez les ch’tis!

Since the computer scheduled “automatic” friendlies with a 2nd division team, I’ve cancelled all of them.

In light of this, please feel free to send me your requests…

DaMaGo, I thought you may have been French.

Where to begin…

First & foremost:

chauvinism –
1 : excessive or blind patriotism
2 : undue partiality or attachment to a group or place to which one belongs or has belonged
3 : an attitude of superiority toward members of the opposite sex; also : behavior expressive of such an attitude
as per Miriam Webster

Wrong way to describe my attitude towards the following sentences you’ve posted:
“This teams must be in a black list, you just have to read the posts to read how mush unfair shit is happen to then……..”

“…but by then i dont remember nowbody complaining than their attackers score to much….. but now it is all complains, and threat to go on vacations)????”

D’ailleurs, pour ta référence, je suis d’origine française…

Et finalement:
“you the one who need to find what world we living and dont give MIERDA to others ethnical groups…”

Clearly DaMaGo is emotion-driven. The entire point of this post in an analytical approach to the entire situation.

Myself, posting to go on vacation is what we call humor. Evidently, your interpretation of my sentence highlights our cultural differences…

I may as well go on vacation mode and let the CPU take care of my team.

The game engine is complete BS… Mind you, I wouldn’t want to be Valenciennes but I’m heading down your way Dhim.

Yes I’ve noticed this as well on quite a few occasions…this aspect of the game engine is HIGHLY unrealistic.

“We could move back to the old engine while things don’t get fixed, if that’s for the best.”

Gabriel, the match engine improvement themselves are relatively fine based on general consensus…I just think that it needs further improvements.

I hate the game engine changes…no, actually despise the changes.

Not one tactic I’ve tried works conclusively. Not one.

Also, having 5 straight divisional ties is not very realistic.

Hmmmm it looks reasonable on paper but I’d like to have some form of real-life comparison.

After a quick search, I found some websites discussing non-strikers goals (but I can’t seem to find hard statistics):
http://soccerword.com/index.php?blog=2&title=goals_from_non_strikers_premier_league_s&more=1&c=1&tb=1&pb=1
http://soccernews.bigsoccer.com/article/02ve8O78THcP3
http://www.fifa.com/worldfootball/clubfootball/news/newsid=667326.html

Also, if strikers are to be a less important part of the game (which I have nothing against), there should be more midfielders that excel at shooting which I don’t think is the case presently…I recall ManagerSim having considerably more offensive or defensive minded (read: more talented) MAs & DMs…am I remembering things correctly???

My best striker hasn’t scored very often since your changes. Check him out: Mauricio Malta in FastTick…In fact, the top strikers list in France seems frozen in time. Nothing has changed since the game engine modifications.

Gabriel, is it possible to extract statistic as to the scoring % of defenders, midfielders, and strikers? Since your changes, I’ve noticed that the attackers are no longer scoring very often…

Personally, I don’t find it very realistic to have one of my defenders scoring in 1 out of every 2 games.

I think your changes have been quite drastic on my team results…I mean, losing 3-0 versus the bottom team is pathetic on my behalf…especially considering that I haven’t changed my tactics.

Going from undefeated (in 10 games) to losing every match I’ve played since you’ve implemented your changes isn’t very realistic.

GROUP A: South Africa, Mexico, Uruguay and France

GROUP B: Argentina, Nigeria, Korea Republic and Greece.

GROUP C: England, U.S.A., Algeria and Slovenia.

GROUP D: Germany, Australia, Serbia and Ghana.

GROUP E: Netherlands, Denmark, Japan and Cameroon.

GROUP F: Italy, Paraguay, New Zealand and Slovakia.

GROUP G: Brazil, Korea DPR, Cote d’Ivoire and Portugal.

GROUP H: Spain, Switzerland, Honduras and Chile.

My predictions in italics with some of my personal wild cards in bold…

Group F & G should be mighty interesting (can’t wait to see Brazil vs Portugal). Imagine a Portugal vs. Spain game…ay ay ay the Iberian Peninsula will literally explode.

…still not as bad as this game played last year (season 31).

Is this result a joke?

Lens 3 – 3 Monaco
3-4-3 formation 4-4-2
47% possession 53%
4 shots 19
4 shots on target 16
84% accurrate passes 91%
52% effective tackles 45%
2 corners 3
9 offsides 3
18 fouls 13

Obviously, I haven’t gotten over it hehehe.

1) Does putting a player on the transfer list affect his morale like in Managersim?

2a) Do players always lose 3 stamina points if playing for the full 90 minutes?
2b) Do they always recuperate 2 points per tick?
2c) Does age have any effects on stamina like inManagersim?

3) If a player starts a game with (for example) 95 stamina, is his performance in the game affected as it progresses? For example, player A starts the game with 95 stamina but finishes with 92 well towards the end; how is his performance in relation to his starting & finishing stamina?

4) Are all skill penalties cumulative (probably yes)? For example, 21 year old striker A L but playing A C with 96 stamina playing an away game:
- Penalty for low stamina
- Penalty for away game
- Penalty for playing in center position (instead of Left flank)

Veterans galore! Have a look and make your bid…all offers will be considered.

Remember, you need a big squad for your international cup runs in order to maintain stamina. On top of that, my veterans won’t be penalized for those important away games.

They all have SOLID secondaries…in fact, they’ve played and beaten many top teams. Have a look for yourself at my CL Cup run this year…
