The new economics are desastrous. All of a sudden, the players are worthless (one cant see their value) and what do you do? You announce this brand new feature:Scouting. Ahh but there’s a twist: You MIGHT be implementing it… Gabriel, that’s a no no!!

Here goes an ideia for the market regulation and (maybe) revive the game:

Nobody can sell a player directly in the market. An entity (The bank) will buy the player from the selling club, paying the player real value (that value we use to see at the player table). Of course the player value changes in time acording with skills variation and age, and it is the bank who will put the player for selling in the market, later on, during a shot period of time (say 5, 7 or more days) trough an auction where everybody can bid. The seller receives only the market value and not the value of the auction best bid. The higest bid takes the player and the bank takes the profit. This profit is important because the bank always buys the players from clubs. Any player!! And, of course, there will be players that the bank cant sell. The bank can also loan money (with interests) to clubs, so they can improve stadiums, junior academy (1 ou 2 more slots for those who invest in youth), medical department, etc. If the bank cant sell the player, then the player gets off the market for some time and then, later on, the bank will try to sell him again.

Listen. It’s not that one can be pissed with these recent changes. One can’t. Its a project under development. We all know that, but some ideas are not what we expect and it is driving players (testers) away from the game. It’s your game. You decide.

Bem, agora não consigo renovar contratos de jogadores. Com a mudança, o valor dos salários ficou no topo. Agora a direcção não aceita qualquer valor que os jogadores proponham, porque excede o limite. Wage Limit: $759,660 Current Wage Total: $758,322.

Num clube de um campeonato secundário que é gerido a tostões, como o Malmoe, que nunca teve salários altos, vejo-me nesta contingência e à beira de ver sair bons jogadores por não conseguir renovar os contratos.

Mas há pior. Tenho um jovem talento na academia que não posso passar para a equipa principal porque não posso oferecer o dinheiro que o jogador pede e o jogador vai sair dentro de 10 turnos.

Qual é o remédio? Mandar jogadores embora a custo ZERO, para ter “espaço salarial” para oferecer contrato ao junior ?

Does those penalties apply also for players on different pitch zones?

I understand these apply to sides, but what about pitch zones? Can I have a defender playing on attack or midfield, or a attacker playing on defense, without penalties on these players performance?

Navigation on the New Server is better. Transfer/loans pages load faster. In the formation screen, assigning players is much faster now. The fixtures page is the slowest one, about 20 seconds to open.

Yeah at Sporting we need players, but good ones… And we also could use a new coach. One who isn’t so stuburn and uses a god soccer tactic like 442, 433 or a simple 4132. Or coach loves the 112 tactic way too much… (for those who doesn’t know and may miss the Ironic Mode here, 112 its the emergency phone number in Europe)

A 3 turn negotiation may help to prevent these cases. At least one doesn’t get cought with the trousers on his ands… :)

In the rules department, a manager should have a valid reason to drop a bid. For example, the selling manager doesn’t want this player to be purchased by a direct opponent in his division, or in his contry or in Champions league, is in his right to do so. It should also exist a confirmation button to prevent “accidental bid drops” or “Transfer List acidental removals”… ;)

Well, if the player was removed from the Transfer List, how come the player gets transfered during the same turn?

We are now in turn 44 wich hasn’t reached it’s end. So, during turn 43 the player was removed from the Transfer List by Napoli’s manager and then, miraculously, gets transferred to Sporting.

I’m suuuure, this was just an “innocent mistake”…
