Hehehe, no, we rely on some built-in features in the programming language to do this, and it simply stopped working after the last techonology update!

I agree that the quality of the defense is important, but I don’t think there has ever been a goalscorer that has averaged over 2 goals a game. I’m just saying maybe the goals should be spread around the team a bit more. Just my opinion though:)
basically, it depends on the quality of opposition defence… if you see the match between Hertha Berlin and Bayern München, the scoreline was just 1-0 . But then not all teams in the league may have good defence and the quality of strikers the top 3 german teams have.
Just been looking at the fast ticker in Germany.
In the league there have been 19 games the top two goalscorers in div 2 have 43 and 37 goals respectively. In div 1 top 2 have 45 and 35 goals respectively.
The ratio of goals per player is too high in my opinion. The top 2 scorers in Germany are scoring over 2 goals a game as an average. Look at the best strikers in the world (real life) and they don’t even come close to this ratio.
Just my thoughts though:)

Again one more injury during the match… ( it really hurts when that happens to a central defender after all 3 substitutions are made:( and when your relegation zone team is leading against a top 5 team).
Injuries are part of life, i am not complaining agaist that …. my question here is: the injury occurred to the defender at C 0 position. in the match replay it seemed that defender on C -1 was substituted to that position. Why did that happen? what kind of logic is that ???
Position D C -1 is more vulnerable than D C 0.
EDIT: i have no strategy which says any player to act as a cover in case of injury…

i would like to see the season and turn when the youth turned pro. (i.e. when he asked for a professional contract)
currently, if the player is fired when he asks the contract, we can easily identify, but if he is given a professional contract, it doesn’t get mentioned anywhere.
that would be nice… but no idea how it changed abruptly all of a sudden… and the motive behind it:)

This is due to the temporary fix for the security breach that was found yesterday. A more appropriate fix will be applied soon to resolve this issue.

I’m having problems accessing rubysoccer by laptop. It’s connected by my own lan at my home 3 computer and 2 notebooks. But I can’t access it in notebook? What could be the problem?

The players were free because we had a security breach exploited today. These players were not meant to be free so they were returned to their teams. The problem is fixed now.
You can send me the list of players you fired either here or in-game and I’ll take a look.

Most teams play with players in the central positions. Even though we’ve improved the utilization of wingers and players in side positions we still need to work on it. Try to change your formations with that in mind and your results should improve.

We’ll probably have to add an option for this one allowing the user to choose between dot or comma, the standards are different from country to country.
@Alexandre: yes, we plan to have something similar and give more free will to the player.
I also remembered something real small time but, in my point of view funny and easy to implement, perhaps?
In MS we had in each player page if he was adapted (which could be fully adapted, not adapted or so so) and the hapiness of the player which could lead to another sweet implications when training, playing, renewing contracts…
I don’t know if any of you guys brought it up, just thought better to mention that!

it is the mail box problem… and the developers are working to fix it… u can go to negotiations and again give them a new contract…

I’ve found some useful players free transfer listed so I fired 5 of my players to take then. Five minutes after I made the proposals I received five of this messages “%{player} has rejected your contract proposal (wage: %{wage}, seasons: %{seasons}). He was hired by %{team}” and the players are no longer free transfer listed.
Maybe I can have my players back too…
