Ouch. I was using an anonymous proxy site… probably that’s the reason why the dialog didn’t show up.

I was considering firing one of my players, so, as usual, I clicked the \“fire player\” link, in order to see how much that would cost me.

Surprisingly for me, the dialog box showing the cost didn\’t appear, and the player was automatically fired…

Is this supposed to happen?

Yes, he was owned by one of my work colleagues, who released him from his squad. I’m sure you’re aware that almost a half of the Portuguese teams are managed by people who work on the same company. :)

I’ve never been a Managersim player, so these protections are new to me…

But now I understand why I couldn’t bid the player.

I’ve tried to make an offer for Jonathan Lecomte on a free transfer, and got this message:

“Prevented by anti-cheat protection. If you are not trying to cheat, contact admins.”

Well, I’m not cheating. Sadly I’ll lose the player, as he already has an offer from another club.
