You have been away to long Parag :P I think Gueugnon manager used his young team so they can improve, the season is ending and he can’t achive anything this season so at least he improves his younger players, you should be doing the same, an european spot is impossible so nothing more to fight for…

i don’t think he was trying to do that… he has 4 goal keepers (2 of which are ok and one is very very good) and he just got relegated this season from a quite comfortable position …

i do this as silva mentiond when im mid table, infact i didnt this at the end of my own season so i dont see a problem about a manager increasing his youth

Sorry I Didn’t respond to this sooner, I just didn’t see this post until today,
I am the manager of Gueugnon, and I am here to say that there is nothing “Fishy” going on.
Regarding the 11-0 result:
At that point of the season (with 6 league matches left) I was already meant to relegate, and if you can see my progress with youth development I am a believer that my team can generate my own players, so I try to develop youths all the time. With no way to go but to Ligue 2 the following season, I decided to use my “alternate” lineup that was made up of players from 17 to 20 years, the purpose was to develop them and since I had no aspiration to stay in Ligue 1, it was a great opportunity to give my players some well needed experience and skill points.
If you look at my team now, most of my experienced players are for sale and for loan, the reason is that I want to develop my youth and the only way to do this is to give them playing time, if I do not plan on using my already developed players, then I can either loan them or sell them and get some $ from them.

Yepp, nothing illegal going on there, the game (board) allows you to lose games, not a problem.
Many people do this type of youth development.

no issues gustavo, i was just mystified at that time because you were at a higher league position and one of your goal keepers was very very good. i thought u could have stayed in the top division.

also i believe a player development is 20% less than normal time in second division. ( some game masters may be able to confirm this), but i feel that was implemented long back…

it´s not only the statistics, its the difference between the teams, and the fact that, since i start playing this, it´s happening all the time. it´s a little frustating.

I’m sure the more experienced managers can give you a hand on setting up your formation. Sometimes small details can make a big difference.

Totally agree with Miguel. In this situation, with such a big difference between teams, this kind of results shouldn’t happen. Not by that big of a margin anyway. 1-0 it would be ok, considering the random factor and all. 2 would be a stretch, 3 is totally unreal, considering both teams potential.

my team 0 reading 0 fucking bullshit, i should have destroyed that pile of shit team, but since im fuckn battling for Europe spot its fucking clear that this game is fucking bullshit and preconcieved from the begining of the season. absolutely bullshit result. 1 more season of this shit im and leaving. theres no at all reason why i should have not gained a europe spot.

all i needed was a fucking win and i would have been in. i beat that shit team chelsea easily yet he gets in. so rigged. i would have been in by 1 point. look at the results and look at the shots difference and the fuckn possesion
