Topic: [admin_only] Improvements Proportional performance bonus / penalty for cup elimination rounds are now in place as well. This is only applicable if you joined a team after the first leg of an elimination cup round has been played and gets a penalty (for being eliminated sooner than expected) or bonus (for qualifying further than expected) after the second leg. Cheers |

Topic: [admin_only] Improvements Proportional performance bonus / penalty for final league position now in place. In other words, if you join a team after the league has started the performance bonus / penalty given to you when the league ends will be reduced to match the amount of time you were in charge of the team during the competition. For example, if you join a team exactly in the middle of the season and at the end your final position was bad enough to give you a 4% performance penalty, now you’ll lose only 2%. Cheers |

Topic: [admin_only] Improvements CPU teams are now capable of loaning players from other teams. They won’t loan their own players out or bother with renewals, but it’s a start :-) Cheers |

Topic: [admin_only] Improvements Revised CPU buying behavior to reduce the allowed amount of money to spend on a given player. This is to reduce the number of teams bidding for players with unrealistic transfer prices. All feedback is really appreciated and can be provided on this topic: http://www.rubysoccer.com/forums/1/topics/2160 Cheers |

Topic: [admin_only] Improvements CPU buying behavior is still being worked on but it should already be possible to notice some small improvements in the market. A couple bugs were also fixed on this logic, they pretty much made the CPU teams make some dumb decisions regarding defenders and old players. Give it some time and let us know what you think! Cheers |

Topic: [admin_only] Improvements Some managers playing in MediumTicker may have noticed the international competitions had to be re-generated a couple times. Our apologies for any inconvenience caused, it happened due to some wrong configuration in the new countries. We hope you enjoy them by the way ;-) |

Topic: [admin_only] Improvements Have you noticed the new link called “Form” in the league table screen? That’s the link to the new form table! There you can compare the recent league performance (last 6 matches) of all the teams in the league. Enjoy! Cheers. |

Topic: [admin_only] Improvements We’ve taken the first step in reducing the board interference on loyal managers’ decisions. You are now able to fire any player, even the ones the board consider important, if you’ve been on the same team for at least 3 seasons. This number can be adjusted in the future, if it makes sense to do so. Cheers. |

Topic: [admin_only] Improvements Improved decision making for CPU teams when buying / selling players or hiring youths. They now have a better guess on the player potential instead of just considering their immediate needs. Loaning players not included yet. Cheers. |

Topic: [admin_only] Improvements Yet another way to confirm you’re on holiday mode. After entering holiday mode exit the dimension. In the enter dimension screen you will see a red message saying “HOLIDAY MODE=ON” right below the description of the dimension(s) where you are on holiday. Cheers. |

Topic: [admin_only] Improvements I’ve just made some changes to the youth player generation so that smaller countries have a higher chance of generating better players once in a while. As a result the average quality of players should raise (no changes for top 2 ranked countries). I don’t want to reveal too many details of the change, but you’ll notice it when a good amount of new youths appear or, even better, when new countries are added ;-) Cheers. |

Topic: [admin_only] Improvements International competition spots were redistributed for South American countries based on real life distribution but adjusted to be dynamic rather than fixed. If you take Libertadores for example, Brazil and Argentina have 5 spots each and all other countries have 3. In RubySoccer the first two South American countries in the country ranking will have 5 spots and other countries will have 3. A similar logic was applied to Copa Sudamericana, first South American country will have 8 spots, second 6 spots and all others 3 spots. We know that there are other rules like the previous champion is automatically qualified, but we are not implementing those…at least not just yet. Cheers. |

Topic: [admin_only] Improvements Just fixed holiday mode. You can now safely go on vacation without worrying (too much) about your team. Rules are still the same, as soon as you enter the dimension again holiday mode is turned off. Cheers. |

Topic: [admin_only] Improvements Holiday mode is not working correctly, at least for some managers. While we don’t fix the problem you shouldn’t rely on it for not losing the team after 7 days of inactivity. As soon as it’s resolved a new announcement will be made. Cheers. |

Topic: [admin_only] Improvements Fixed groups balance on international cups based on team quality. After Ricardo Ramos pointed out something was definitely wrong with the group drawing I’ve done some investigation and found the problem. Next time things should be back to normal ;-) Cheers. |

Topic: [admin_only] Improvements Did you have the feeling your low stamina players were not playing as bad as you’d expect? Because they weren’t! Some of the skills were not being correctly penalized due to low stamina as they should. It has now been fixed, players should suffer all effects of low stamina in the following matches. Thanks to Felix Cardoso for raising the flag on this one. Cheers. |

Topic: [admin_only] Improvements Managers now have a reputation to worry about. If you go to a manager’s information page you’ll see his/her reputation. Everybody starts with 100% and whenever something suspicious is identified this value may go down. Admins and GMs will be responsible for the decisions around the reputation value. This information will also be available when you are making offers to buy players or when you are looking at offers being made for your players, just in case you wanna take that in consideration when doing business in the game. Remember, failing to let us know of suspicious activities is almost as bad as the suspicious activities themselves ;-) More to be released on the same subject soon! |

Topic: [admin_only] Improvements You can now login to RubySoccer using your Facebook, Google or Twitter accounts! Don’t forget to click on the ‘Like’ button at our homepage ;). For Facebook and Gmail, if your email account here in rubysoccer is the same as your email account in those services, it should automatically detect your user and allow you to proceed to your normal account. For twitter, your screen name has to be the same as your rubysoccer login. By the way, you can now login rubysoccer using either your email or login name (to have a login is now optional). Also, some infrastructure updates were rolled out. It should be a little bit faster to browse rubysoccer. |

Topic: [admin_only] Improvements Hotlists Notifications This is the first of a series of hotlists notifications improvements. Now when a player on your hotlist is transfer listed you’ll receive a message about that with the price included. This will help managers in going after the players they’re interested in and also reduce the number of “undercover” deals. Enjoy! |

Topic: [admin_only] Improvements The first achievements are finally here! If you ever got a competition title, check it out at your manager profile! Topic: [admin_only] Improvements New manager setting: friendly formation. This setting is used to assign a formation to automatically scheduled friendlies at season start. If you do not use the auto-friendly option this new setting is useless for you :-) Cheers. |

Topic: [admin_only] Improvements You can now assign a formation to all your friendly invitations at once. Just use the select box right beside the accept all and reject all icons. This is pretty useful when you want to click the accept all button. Cheers. |

Topic: [admin_only] Improvements Transfer restrictions in place for managers after joining a new team. As soon as you join a new team you won’t be able to buy players for more than the estimated value. The amount you can offer increases slowly every turn until you’re with the team for 72 turns or more. When that happens the restrictions are removed. Cheers. |
