once a National Team is out of a Cup series, I’d love to be able to have the option to look at alternate players.

As the team is out, then it does not matter if players are changed around during the Cup games you’re not a part of.

It should be relatively simple to allow that earlier for knocked out teams…I will have a look once I am back from my holidays.
