There are currently two ways to quickly rank your players: estimated value and (with a script) average stats. The script (currently) only works if there is an estimated value and it’s unclear if the script will be updated.
But there is a solution: add a column for average stats in the game (as a replacement for estimated value, or in addition).
(and I know the average stats don’t say anything, but that is also the case for any other number in the game…)
Dimitri, what does that column tell?

A positive correlation with player quality.
Are you sure?
Is that a guess or that is truly so?

I’m ok adding the new column, it’s not something hidden or anything, just helping with the math for those who like average stats.
Yes Berhan. And cool!
When is this coming? With the latest bug fixes the script for average stats is not working anymore (at least not for me).
weird, mine still works without any problems…
but i agree with dimitri, if we can average stats incorporated in the game, it’ll be that much easier to let go of estimated value column…
Since the userscript with average stats is not working for me anymore (maybe because of the change from www.rubysoccer.com to rubysoccer.com), it would be very convenient for me if the avg column would be added. I use it for example to see how my players have developed over a season, and to quickly scan the strength of a team.
Added to our list of features for May.
Hi Dimitri, where is this script? I will have a quick look, maybe I can fix it in a couple minutes.
See http://rubysoccer.com/forums/1/topics/1165
But I think that the homepage of the script has disappeared (and the maker also, at least from this game).
But it would be nice to see it in game next month!
The userscripts page changed:

yeah, pretty sure its because of the www. Greasemonkey / the script is configured to run on a particular page, and this script has been configured to only run in the www version of the rubysoccer site! I think you might be able to manually include the non www version by configuring the script in greasemonkey…
There is a second problem: Chrome now disables scripts that aren’t coming from their official web store :(
I’ve managed to get it working by removing the www. from the script.
Something that wasn’t working even before is the “Turns since last improvement”, anyone knows why? It is something I really liked in the old days :D
@Dimitri, I’m using Chrome and it works, run it with Tampermonkey
