In my opinion their should be a sort of wage cap. If only to protect ourselves from bankrupting the team because of a typo.
Offering a wage of 52,100 to a player worth 37,467 should not be possible (Andres Leon of Almeria)

Lol, I’d like a wage cap now. One of my players wants 77,000 a week on contract negotioations.

Can you create rich billionaires that buy my club and give me lots of money ?.

A wage cap is needed in the future for sure …I remember the mad wages we had to pay to sign a good player in SoccerSim…..sometimes near 200,000 a week in some CRAZY cases ………….maybe a % of his TRUE value????

Cheers

A % of the player’s true value sounds like a good solution, but we also should have a board cap for each team, so that you don’t hire a player for an amount of money that is higher than your team reality.

A good feature is if you want to buy a player, you increase the player value and not the wage. With this, we don’t need to offer 50k wage to buy a player.
For example.
A team is selling “Ronaldinho Gaucho” 5,000,000. wage 15,000

Barcelona wanba buy it and offer 6,000,000 wage 15,500
Milan offer 5,5000,000 wage 16,000
Palmeiras offer 6,000,000 wage 16,000

Obviously, the wage is capped by the buyer finances… my team earn 100k/turn so I can’t offer more than 25%(X%) of it to a player’s wage.

On free transfers, you should pay a innitial value to the player. something to limit the wage of that (84 shoot forward) :)

You should implement annual drafts http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NFL_Draft
