Hi, I am on Newcastle on dimension 2. After playing this game http://www.rubysoccer.com/game/match_report/31216 I checked that the formation that was reported was 4-3-3. This is wrong… I used 3-4-3… and I checked before and there was no player unavailable.

Are you sure there is no defender placed on M – 1 instead of D +1 for instance? That would make a 3-4-3 instead of a 4-3-3 :-)

I am quite sure. I did saw my formation minutes before the game and I do not have a 4-3-3 formation configured. If it happen again I’ll post again.

Another game… where a different formation was used:
http://www.rubysoccer.com/game/match_report/30997 … but I think in this case I had a player with a red card. But why it changed my tatic that was 3-3-4 to 5-2-3? After the game the screen formation has the right formation.

Maybe I loose another game because of this behaviour. For me it is impossible to see my team every tick.

Why can rubysoccer rearrange the team players using the same formation?

Unfortunately, that’s the current behaviour, the game picks the “best” players available, no matter which position they play. In the future, we’ll consider the positions you’ve setup on your formation in order to complete the missing players with other from the same position.

me too !

in last two league matches it used 3-3-4 and 4-2-4, but my formation is 3-4-3. no injured players and no red card, so why it changed my default formation???
