I’ve just found an annoying bug. I didn’t allocate 2 Middle Fielders in my last league match because they were with RED cards. Now I’m planning the squad for the next league match and they still have the RED cards! So, the cards weren’t reseted in the last tick. This also happened with one of my friends.

We’ve had problems on last tick and had to run it again manually, that’s why some players cards were not cleared. I’ll clear all red cards manually.

HI guys, I dont know how it happened but i have two friendly games scheduled at the same turn which is turn 113 fast ticker team Gama brazil.

I’ve seen that happen in the past, not sure how though, it’s not common.

Some players ended up with multiple lines for their friendly statistics. The bug has been fixed but the extra lines will remain for this season.

I think this is a bug because nobody else is using my network to log in rubysoccer!

It doesn’t mean these guys are still accessing the game from the same PC or network as you, but if they did in the last 3 months you’ll be unable to negotiate players with them. Unfortunately it’s the price we have to pay to help preventing cheats :(

A player of mine missed two penalties in the same game got a rating of 10.

It’s not exaclty a bug, but a bad penalty kick probability calculation algorithm :)
Anyway, we have plans to improve that, it’s too unrealistic.

First 3 shots against Gama hit the bar then magically into keeper’s hands. Then 1 more. So, 4 shots at the bar and all into GK’s hands. I think the chance the GK catches the deflected ball should be 1%, now it is 100%. Set the priority to high, I use long shots =)

Yesterday I’ve reduced that probability but when I did I was looking at balls deflected by the keeper. I’ll check the “hit the bar” situation and see what I can do. Thanks, Alban!

Passing % is still 85-95, I think could be about 50% for long pass, 65 for medium and maximum 80 for short if the passers are skilled at 90. I think first of all shoud be decreased the probability of successful GK-to-attacker passes and also corners. Didn’t hit the bar yet, can’t say if smth changed there =)

Maybe it’s because even when the player miss the pass, if a teammate gets the ball it is considered a good pass.

Joseppi is right, you may have missed the announcement about the changes on player contract decision. The wage is not the single factor of decision anymore, the player takes in consideration the chance of playing on its future team, that is, how good he is compared to his future teammates.

Gabriel, we have to rethink a bit.

I tried to hire an old player (34yo) and offered more money than others, but I miss the contract.
Why an old player would prefer to receive less money and play in a not so known team?

It makes sense if the player is young.

Fair enough, but this is not the only change to be made regarding old players x young players, when I change what you’re saying I will also have to implement a different behaviour between them when it comes to contract length. Young players should prefer a shorter contract while older players would prefer a long-term one.

This contract length behaviour change is already planned, so we can do this other change at the same time.

Not sure if the long tick times is related to us working on it, sometimes our servers just get less cpu capacity than usual and we have to talk to our host. We’ll see if that’s the case.
