I have just started playing and have a few basic questions, any help would be appreciated;

1 – How do you start negotiations with a player whose contract is running out?

2 – How does the training work and where do you hire coaches?

3 – What level of stamina means that a player needs to rest?

1. click on his name, then u come in player options. There is a green line that something says like “offer contract renewal”
2. you can’t. Leveling coaching to 10 is the way. You will train people automatically. The higher the level the quicker they go
3. stamina only reduces the stat speed, the lower the stat the quicker he can get an injury (not 100% sure of this though).

what i recall is gabriel liking the idea of player getting more injured when stamina is low, but i am not sure if it has been implemented… I have seen my reserves playing without getting injured when they are below 40. (sometimes when i am away )… so, i am also not sure, but what i am sure is this idea has been talked about and it is in their enhancement list.

Yep, this is implemented. Depending on your player age / stamina, the injury chances go up.

I’m still struggling with teh contract renewal.

The player I want to keep now has 0 turns under contract, but when I click on him teh only options I get are:

Fire Player
Transfer List Player
Loan List Player

Please help – he is one of my better players and I’d like to keep him.

Did he already accept a new contract maybe? It’s pretty weird that u can renew his contract otherwise..

Take a look in the general player screen on contracts. When there is a " * " after his name he already signed a new contract.

don’t u think its too late given that he had 0 turns left yesterday ??

Parag, I forgot to see to the time Nimmo posted his message. But he can always use my post for other players :-)
He doesn’t have to loose an other player this way.

Yes he had an * and it looks like he has signed a new contract.
