What order of logic is used to sort the league tables if two teams are almost level?
I think usually it goes: number of points > goal difference > goals scored > results between the two teams.
I am in Italy Div 1 (fast ticker) and the top two teams have the same points. 2nd placed team has a better goal difference but not scored as many goals and has 1 less win. I would normally have expected 2nd place to have been 1st based on goal difference but there is clearly some other sorting order being used.
Currently it is the brazilian logic: number of points > number of victories > goal difference > goal scored
We have a bug to add country specific sorting.
Cheers!
Thanks Gabriel, that clears things up. I guess there’s no substitute for winning matches!
