Hi,
how is a team’s position on their League Ladder determined when multiple teams have the same points?

Is it team with least GA gets the higher position on the Ladder?

If teams have same points, and same GA, what happens then? I had assumed the highest GF would get the higher position.

However, Brasil is currently different to deciding who gets the highest position with the same points:

Pos Team P W D L GF GA Pts 14 Boa Esporte 37 12 7 18 50 61 43 15 Coritiba 37 11 10 16 42 52 43 16 Santos 37 10 13 14 42 55 43

EL 6 Sunderland 37 14 12 11 54 42 54
EL 7 Leeds United 37 14 12 11 43 42 54
8 Arsenal 37 16 6 15 53 57 54

All countries except Brazil are decided by goal difference, then goals for…don’t remember if there is a third criterion. Brazil is number of wins, then goal difference, then goals for. The idea was to make country specific rules, but in the end Brazil was the only country where we added the real-life tie-breaker rules.
